One Direction’s Harry Styles and his friendship with Taylor Swift is obvious now…

Harry Styles was rumoured to have swapped digits with Taylor Swift after the pair met at the Kids' Choice Awards in March and while the duo insist they're JUST friends, we think the One Direction hottie would be mad not to take things further…

Taylor Swift has just posed for US cosmetic company CoverGirl and looks simply stunning as she adopted various looks to promote the make-up.

In a behind-the-scenes video of an advert for the beauty brand, the singer took on a sexier look then we've come accustomed to seeing.

By far the most powerful is the rock chick look (that would surely lure Harry back to the States), which features heavy eye make-up and cat-like eyes.

The blonde beauty glitters with heavy silver shadow and layers of black eyeliner for an evening edge.
For day time, Taylor goes for a more natural look with brown shadow and hot red lips to bring attention to her perfect pout.

But it's the final shot that the country musician says makes her feel 'in her element' and we can see why.
The look comprises with winged eyeliner and crimson lips worked against a full barnet of curls.
If these looks don't nail her Harry's heart (just in case she wants it) the fact that she's topped Forbes list as the highest paid celebrity under 30 should.

Sage Stallone, 36, was found dead in his Hollywood apartment.

The 36-year-old son of Sylvester Stallone, Sage Stallone, has been found dead in his Hollywood home, leaving the actor grief-stricken, his publicist said.
Exact details surrounding the death have yet to be confirmed, but an autopsy is scheduled to take place in the next 48 hours.
"Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son," publicist Michelle Bega said in a statement.
"His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha."

She added: "Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever."

A coroner has confirmed that there was no sign of foul play or trauma surrounding the death and no suicide note was found.
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter also added that bottles of prescription pills were recovered from the flat, but it was unclear what medication they contained or whether they were connected with the death.
Mr Winter told the Associated Press that it will take several weeks before toxicology tests can be completed, despite an initial autopsy being held in the next 48 hours.

Sage's attorney George Braunstein said on Friday evening (July 13): "I have just gotten a report that he was found dead at his home.
"He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects. He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy."

An LAPD spokesperson confirmed that Sage was found dead alone after police carried out a 'welfare check' when someone couldn't establish contact with him.
"There is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity", the rep added.

David Beckham dismisses torch lighting talk

David Beckham does not believe he should be the one to open the London Games by lighting the Olympic Torch.
Following his exclusion from Stuart Pearce's squad, speculation has been rife that Beckham, who was a key member of the bid team which brought the Games to London, would be given the honour of lighting the flame during the opening ceremony.
But Beckham appears to have ruled that out, telling Sky Sports News: "I've always said lighting the torch in the stadium is something that should be done by an Olympian... who has done incredible things for our country and won gold medals."

He added: "I'm sure whoever decides that, it will be an Olympian, but we'll have to wait and see."
The flame looks set to be lit instead by either five-time rowing gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave or twice decathlon champion Daley Thompson. The British Olympic Association are reported to favour Redgrave, who won gold at consecutive Games between Los Angeles 1984 and Sydney 2000 and was knighted the following year.

Thompson won gold in 1980 and 1984, the only man other than American Bob Mathias to win decathlon gold on two occasions. His score in Los Angeles was recalculated after the event to 8,847 points, a world record at the time and still the British record.

He is reported to have the support of Games organising committee LOCOG, who have direct responsibility for delivering the Games and whose view could therefore prove decisive.
Where Beckham is concerned, LOCOG chairman Sebastian Coe has stated he will be given a role of some description at the Games, but for now the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder is just looking forward to enjoying the event as a spectator.

"Everyone knows how proud I am of representing my country and to do it in my home town on such a big stage would have been incredible," he said. "So of course I'm disappointed.
"I'm going to be just proud to be there as a fan, more than anything, in a part of London where I grew up. I used to play soccer over the fields that have been changed now. As a fan and as an Englishman, I'm going to be very proud."

Cher Lloyd channels Jessie J in floral fashion, slicked hair and hoop earrings at Perez Hilton’s party

Cher Lloyd has clearly been missing Britain while her debut release in America sits pretty at number five in the iTunes chart.

The former X Factor starlet was back on UK shores and took her style inspiration last night from one of the country's most famous pop stars, Jessie J.

As Cher Lloyd performed at Perez Hilton's One Night in London party she rocked some punky fashion choices stolen from the Price Tag singer.

This look was not too dissimilar to Jessie's outfit she wore at The Voice wrap party which featured a neon floral jacket with a top knot and large gold earrings.

Made in Chelsea’s Hugor Taylor and Natalie Joel look loved up on lunch date

During the last series of Made in Chelsea, Hugo Taylor managed to avoid any relationship drama, and instead spent most episodes cuddling up to his new girlfriend, Natalie Joel.

The Made in Chelsea couple were snapped laughing and chatting over their lunch, before leaning in for a big kiss.
As they left the restaurant, Natalie held onto Hugo's arm as they went for a walk, smiles plastered across their faces.

He announced last month that he'd outgrown the show and was ready to move on to new ventures.

It's a big gamble but I think I might have outgrown the show. Originally the producers only wanted me as a peripheral character and that's all I wanted to contribute.
"I could wind up having absolutely everything or I could end up with nothing. But I've become lazy and comfortable on the show."
Hugo concluded: "I often look at what I've done and think, 'S***, did I completely sell out?' Staying on Made in Chelsea and bitching about the colour of someone's dress has started to become unimportant to me."

1920s style this summer

With the runaway success of 'The Artist' last year and the remake of 'The Great Gatbsy' coming in the autumn, more and more of us have been captivated by the 1920s.
It was a decade of incredible social change, particularly for women.
Stylistically, this was the era of the flapper. It saw women throw away their corsets and raise the hemlines of the dresses that had been brushing the floor ten years before. The female form was now draped in flowing fabrics, tailored dresses and shirt and skirt combinations. Silks and chiffons became more popular and these wispy materials seemed to fit in with the air of freedom that surrounded the times.
At the moment on the high street, shops like Zara are offering some delightful outfits like this flapper dress, which is smart, cool and chic and has enough of a 1920s feel to it, but still retains some modernity. At £39.99, this is a steal. To go all out, you'd need to team it with some white tights and a pair of heels or light-coloured sandals, and perhaps a long string of pastel coloured faux pearls. From my own wardrobe I have a beautiful pair of new "vintage" white heeled shoes (pictured) which would go perfectly with this dress. I picked them up from eBay at under £15 and they have the right feel to match up with this outfit very well.
Black vintage heels.

Topshop has a wonderful peplum blouse in an eye-catching shade of green. Very Clara Bow in styling and fabulously flirty, it could be teamed with a simple short black skirt for office wear or with a lovely pair of crisp white linen trousers or skirt for a sophisticated daytime casual look. Perfect for doing the Charleston in. To go with this blouse and skirt/trousers combination, I would wear my vintage black high heeled shoes (pictured) which are 1920s-inspired and again were picked up from eBay, this time for just under £10.

Jasper Conran grey felt cloche hat.
If a top-to-toe outfit is too much, or you feel shy of so much light, floaty fabric, take a look at some accessories instead. The era offers much inspiration, with Items like cloche hats, headbands, strings of pearls and neat high heels all the rage.
Accessorize have a beautiful straw cloche in store at the moment which is perfect for summer and emulates the original hat of the 1920s perfectly. This would also team up perfectly with the Zara dress.

White vintage shoes.
I have a grey cloche hat (pictured) that was picked up from the Jasper Conran collection at Debenhams and was priced at £16. This hat was worth every single penny; it's a sturdy construction, has beautiful sequin detailing on it and is smart enough to wear for any social gatherings I might go to. It's suitable for both summer and winter and fits with a number of different items I already have in my wardrobe already.
Whether you want to dip your toe in the water and experiment slightly with the fashions or go the whole way and get yourself a fabulous flapper dress to dance the night away in, there's something for everyone. The important thing is to have fun, and like the decade itself, don't take it all too seriously!

Sri Lanka bat out draw with Pakistan

Sri Lanka won their first Test series in nine attempts since August 2009 when they batted out for a draw against Pakistan in the third and final Test at the Pallekele Stadium.

Dinesh Chandimal (65) and Kumar Sangakkara (74 not out) shared an 88-run second-wicket partnership as Sri Lanka finished on 195-4 having been set a 270-run victory target earlier in the day by Pakistan, seeking a draw to level the three-match series.
Hosts Sri Lanka, who won the first Test in Galle by 209 runs while the second Test in Colombo was drawn, recorded their first series victory for almost three years when they beat New Zealand. Since then they have drawn three series and lost five.
The defeat was Pakistan's first since England beat them 3-1 in August 2010 and captain Misbah-ul-Haq's first series loss since his appointment two months later.
Sri Lanka began the chase on a positive note with openers Tharanga Paranavitana and Chandimal posting 44 for the first wicket.
The momentum was continued by Chandimal and Sangakkara but off-spinner Saeed Ajmal halted the Sri Lankan run chase when he took three key wickets.
Chandimal was out for 65 in the final over before tea then Mahela Jayawardene (11) and Thilan Samaraweera (10) followed before Sri Lanka batted the remainder of the match in cautious fashion.
"Our mindset was to win but going into the last session against a quality team like Pakistan we probably thought it was not worth it," Sri Lanka captain Jayawardene told reporters.
"They set a very negative field to cramp our guys and we thought let's not take too many risks at the end because we are 1-up in the series."
Jayawardene's counterpart Misbah expressed surprise the hosts gave up their pursuit of the victory target.
"Chasing 270 in 71 overs is not an easy task but after the start being 150-2 and when you need less than four an over that was the time they could have taken the game away from us," the 38-year-old said.
"I was really surprised they put the shutters up and never tried to go for the runs. I don't know what happened the way the wicket was behaving, scoring was really easy on it, they could have gone for the target."

Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara

One of the batsmen at the crease at the end, Sangakkara, was named man of the series for scoring 490 runs (average 163) while Asad Shafiq was awarded the match award for his defiant unbeaten century that saved Pakistan from certain defeat.
Shafiq (100 not out) hit his second Test hundred as Pakistan declared their second innings at 380 for eight wickets.
The visitors batted for 100 minutes on the fifth and final day, allowing Shafiq to get his century before their attempt to salvage something from the series.
Resuming on 299 for eight, Pakistan's ninth wicket pair of Shafiq and Adnan Akmal (35 not out) shared an unbroken 81-run partnership on a benign pitch.
Shafiq showed a lot of maturity and reached his hundred with a single to square leg off Rangana Herath before the declaration came.
Shafiq batted for 195 balls and hit nine fours in his chanceless innings.
Akmal, batting with a hairline fracture on his left-hand, was no less impressive in his 96-ball gritty knock.
Herath was Sri Lanka's best bowler, ending with figures of four for 99, while Dilhara Fernando took three for 74.

Brett Lee retires from international cricket

Brett Lee has confirmed his retirement from international cricket, but he has declared his intention to play on in the Big Bash League and the IPL. Lee, 35, had originally planned to retire after the ICC World Twenty20 in September, but after flying home early from the ODI series in England due to a calf injury, he decided the time was right to make way for Australia's young fast bowlers.

Brett Lee announced his international retirement at the SCG
He will depart the game as the equal leading wicket taker for Australia in one-day internationals, having moved level with Glenn McGrath on 380 victims, although McGrath also took one wicket for the ICC World XI, taking his career tally to 381. Lee retired from Test cricket in February 2010, but remained a valuable player in the shorter formats, for his country and his various domestic teams around the world.
Lee's final appearance for Australia came in Durham last week, when he hurt his calf while bowling the third over of his 221st one-day international. Lee said he wondered as he was clapped off whether it would be the end of his international career, and he made his decision on Friday morning before making the retirement official with an announcement at the SCG.
"I guess you ask yourself a lot of questions when you've been injured or been through a tough time," Lee said. "It's been the last two or three nights I have thought about it a lot. I woke up this morning and I knew this was the right day to do it.
Brett Lee catches the ball during indoor practice

"In a team environment you have to be committed 100%, both mentally and physically. Looking at the next two months I just didn't have that desire any more. It wouldn't be fair on me or the rest of the team if I was to go over there with that attitude - not lack of commitment, but you just get to a point in your life when you decide enough is enough.
"The great run must end. It was going to be post-World Cup [Twenty20]. We had spoken about that with the selectors and that was the time I was going to walk away from the game. But I woke up this morning and just felt like I was ready. It was time to go."
Lee made his debut for Australia in the 1999 Boxing Day Test against India and he will retire as international cricket's tenth leading wicket taker of all time, with 718 victims across all three formats. He has been involved in a World Cup triumph in 2003 and three successful Ashes campaigns, and although he will leave on the low of a 4-0 one-day loss to England, Lee said he was confident Australia were heading in the right direction.
"What I can say about the Australian cricket team right now is that we are guided by a terrific guy in Michael Clarke," Lee said. "I think he's been a terrific captain. He's got a great cricket brain. We've just got to back the guys we've got around us and realise that we don't make superstars overnight.
Brett Lee trapped Ian Bell lbw but replays showed Bell had got a very faint inside edge

"We can't expect guys to go out there and get five-for in their first match, or a hundred. The guys need to take time to get used to their spot. There's a lot of unfair pressure coming from all angles on the players these days. Pick a group and try to stick with them I reckon is the best advice."
One of those young men who will play a key role in Australia's fortunes over the next decade is Pat Cummins, the 19-year-old fast bowler. Cummins has already been struck down by a number of injuries and has taken advice from Lee, who said he was excited to see what Cummins could deliver over the next few years.
"He's got so much talent. If I had half his talent that he's got at 19, you'd take a million Test wickets," Lee said. "He's a wonderful guy, he's a guy that listens, he's got a great body to bowl fast. The thing I told him the other day is that you are going to get injured, unfortunately. If you put yourself and your body on the line every single time you bowl a ball, the chances are you will get injured.
"You've got to learn how to deal with that, learn how to deal with the media saying you're injury prone, how to deal with people saying you've got to bowl 150ks every single ball. It's tough, it's challenging. I know that he can do it."
Lee was in and out of Australia's side so often due to injury in his career that he said he'd had "more sequels or comebacks than Rambo". He missed the 2007 World Cup due to a serious ankle injury and also suffered back, abdomen, side, elbow and foot problems throughout his 13-year international career, but he said he had no regrets about the toll his style had taken on his body.
"It may be a little bit crazy to be a fast bowler, to put your body on the line every single time," Lee said. "I've always said that if you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much space. That's the way I've always played my cricket. If I've done something I've done it pretty well [injuries]. This calf tear is the first proper torn muscle I've had in 20 years of cricket, so I can't really ask my body for much more than that.
"There's still the Big Bash, there's the IPL. I'm not totally losing my cricket thrill or the chance to play cricket. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to play here [the SCG] again. Obviously it won't be for the Australian cricket team, which will be sad. But I know I've made that right call."

What about Arg! Gemma Collins spends ITV party with Gethin Jones

Arg and Gemma Collins are fast becoming our favourite TOWIE couple.
Gemma Collins, Gethin Jones, ITV PartyGemma Collins teased us with this Twitpic of her and Gethin Jones.
But before we get too smitten with their love affair, we might need to backtrack slightly after the Essex lass posted some rather confusing Twitpics last night.
Gem spent the night at the ITV party last night with a load of other 'The Only Way Is Essex' cast members.
But while Lydia, Mark Wright and Ricky Rayment all hit the Aqua Restaurant in London, it seems that Arg was no-where to be seen.

And Gem took the opportunity to sidle up to another good looking brunette - in the shape of TV presenter Gethin Jones (well we can hardly blame her).
The curvy blonde tweeted: "What a night me and geth xxxx woo hoo I'm a happy girl xxx" alongside a snap of the pair at the bash.
Gemma Collins, TOWIEGemma Collins tweeted that she was a happy girl.
And later she posted: "Aww geth is so sweet xx" with another picture of the two of them.
Later Gems made us *LOL* a lot when she climbed into a rickshaw with one of our Essex faves Ricky Rayment.
The pair giggled as they made their way around London in the bright orange vehicle.

Meanwhile Arg, who yesterday spent a boys day out with Mark Wright at the barbers, made an appearance on Big Brother's Bit On The Side and then debated going to famous Essex club Faces.
We reckon Gemma Collins is just being one big fat tease on Twitter with these pictures of Gethin.
But we now can't WAIT for the start of the new series of TOWIE to see how things pan out between her and Arg.
Other TOWIE stars hanging out at the channel's party were Mark Wright - showing off his new David Beckham hairdo - Lydia Bright and Joey Essex.

And Harry Styles' ex Caroline Flack was also at the event in a bright red lace dress and black heels. But she had to cover up her glamorous look with a mac in the pouring rain.

And Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden brought a touch of sunshine to proceedings in a bright yellow cape dress.

But it was these lovely ladies who REALLY stole the show at the party. Nip slip totally intended.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart make cute couple at Twilight Comic Con reunion

Twilight duo Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been super secretive about their off-screen relationship.

But they couldn't hide their feelings for each other as they got together with the Twilight cast at Comic Con International 2012 last night. Naw.
Hanging with the rest of their Breaking Dawn co-star Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Mackenzie Foy (who plays Renesmee), RPattz and KStew made the cutest of couples as they posed for photographers.

Kristen Stewart showed off her svelte figure in a yellow mini skirt, cropped white tee and trademark black hi-top trainers.
Looking more relaxed than ever before, the 22-year-old smiled and laughed as she hung out with her cast mates at the San Diego Convention Centre.
And it was clear to see just how much Robert Pattinson adores her as he barely left her side during the session.
Rob, who looked relaxed in black jeans, a black t-shirt and grey shirt, had his arm around his girlfriend whenever he could.
And with Kristen stealing the show in her sexy sporty togs, we caught Rob stealing sneaky looks at his girl.
The pair were liked giggling teenagers during the press conference, laughing into their hands as they answered questions.

Meanwhile co-star Taylor Lautner joined the happy pair, looking HOT in an open blue shirt which showed off just the right amount of chest hair *swoons*.

And the Twilight girls made sure they were keeping up with Kristen's sexy look. Nikki Reed opted for a black skin-tight leather skirt with a breton tee and strappy sandals.
