MSN Food's US road trip week

Food writer and American grub aficionado Neil Davey is hitting the highways of America's East Coast for MSN Food. His mission? To visit as many shacks, cafés, diners, street vendors and restaurants as he can in search of the very best of American cuisine. Think lobster rolls, burgers, cheese melts, hot dogs and clam chowder. It's Guy Fieri meets Adam Richman. It's the stuff of dreams - and elasticated waistbands.
Throughout the week, you'll be able to follow Neil's progress as he takes charge of our Twitter page, posting regular updates on the people, the places and the platesful he encounters - he'll even be blogging live from The Maine Lobster Festival, the biggest of its kind in the world...

Neil will have somewhere to rest his weary head thanks to the nice people at M
