Catching Up With One Techie Couple at Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza typically attracts a more nerdy, techie crowd than, say, Rocklahoma. And when we spotted Brian Lee wearing this shirt we just had to ask about his background."I'm always taking stuff apart," explained the Tampa, Fla., resident and IT professional, who traveled to Chicago specifically to attend Lollapalooza.
When he's not voiding warranties, Lee likes hitting music festivals around the country with his wife, Alison. "We're general nerds," he said, "so we also like going to comic conventions."
At Lollapalooza, the Lees were interested in seeing "a lot of bands." But Brian Lee said they made sure to catch headliners such as Jane's Addiction and Depeche Mode, current chart-toppers Silversun Pickups and newcomer Bat for Lashes. "Bat for Lashes was amazing," he gushed.
Unfortunately ... or fortunately, depending on your tastes ... Limp Bizkit wasn't there to play "Break Stuff" to go along with Lee's t-shirt.
